Born and raised in Gates, NY, daughter of a retired Law Enforcement Officer, Virginia’s passion for music led her to represent the community singing locally in the Gates-Chili High School Concert Choir, the Bach Children's Choir, and RAPA throughout her childhood and through the course of her university studies at SUNY Purchase College where she earned a Bachelor’s Magna Cum Laude in 2001. Virginia has always had a passion for serving the community. Her studies spearheaded a program in Mantova, Italy as the first representativesent from SUNY to the Italian Conservatory. Her performances gained the attention of the International Media as she won various awards across the peninsula.

After finishing her post graduate studies, Virginia opened her own studio in Language Training, Interpreting and English Marketing Consultancy, collaborating with a long list of international companies, businesses, private schools, universities, hospitals, and professionals. Virginia will use her experience as a small business owner to control government spending and help local employers expand and create jobs.

Virginia has recently shifted her focus from her work to assisting her mother with her recovery from a debilitating illness. Virginia's passion for community outreach led her to be part of the Gates Comprehensive Plan Update Board and to be the Chair for the Gates Conservation Advisory Board / CSC Task Force. Virginia decided to run for the Monroe County Legislature out of a deep commitment to the community that gave her the opportunity to succeed. She believes that elected office is a public trust and that government must always remember that the People are in charge and that is who we work for.
